Fear often comes in waves, sometimes linked to worries about the future or arising after disappointment and pressure. Scripture acknowledges that fear is a genuine struggle and encourages us to bring it before God. Philippians 4:6-7 instructs us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

When fear surfaces, cling to what is true: God is faithful, God is present, and He is not caught off guard by your troubles. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Speak His promises over your fears and pray honestly about what you’re feeling. Stay close to His Word, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” Don’t hesitate to reach out to trusted believers for support.

Remember, faith isn’t the absence of pressure; it’s the choice to keep leaning on God even when that pressure remains. As Psalm 56:3 declares, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
